He has now played in 42 games in his first two years in the majors and he is 22 for 87 (.253 avg, .638 OPS) with 12 runs scored, 0 homers, 10 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. The Giants needed Christian’s roster spot for Ryan Theriot.
