The San Francisco Giants sign Justin Miller
The Giants have signed 31-year old righty reliever Justin Miller to a minor league contract. He will likely have a really good chance of making the Giants’ pitching staff next spring as he has pitched pretty decent the last couple of seasons for the Marlins. Miller pitched in 46 games (0 starts) for the Marlins last season and he was 4-2 with a 4.24 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP. Miller has now pitched in 153 games (33 starts) in his major league career and he is 21-11 with a 5.16 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP. This was a good low risk/decent reward move for the Giants.
